English Football giants Chelsea hires its former midfield legend Frank Lampard as Manager. The Veteran English player signed a three year contract, announced the Club on Thursday.
Lampard is club’s all time top goalscorer were he played for thirteen years. Super Frank captained Chelsea in their first UEFA Champions League title and Europa League title and won 11 major trophies with them.
Frank left Chelsea in 2014 to join Manchester City and then moved to New York City from were he announced his retirement in 2017.
The 41-year old head coach managed English second tier club Derby County in 2018-2019 season and the club advanced to the Championship play-offs.
However, the team lost the play-off final against Aston Villa 2-1 and missed the chance to play in Premier League this season.
Frank will be taking over a promising yet struggling Chelsea who will miss their superstar Eden Hazard next season. The club is having a two-window transfer till 2020 which can be a hurdle for the coach.
