Haryana Polls: BJP and Congress fight neck and neck, JJP becoming the kingmaker

As the BJP and Congress fight neck and neck to ring in Haryana, with a lead in 38 and 32 seats respectively, JJP, with 11 seats, closes in on becoming the kingmaker.

JJP President Dushyant Chautala said his party will support whoever offers them the chief minister’s post. Reports also suggest that the Congress has already reached out to the JJP for an alliance.

Even as the BJP is trying to woo the JJP, reports suggest that Dushyant Chautala has sent feelers to the Congress.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, according to a CNN News18 report, has been called to Delhi to meet the party’s High Command.

INLD leader Abhay Singh Chauhan, while speaking with news agency ANI, said that the BJP will not come to power in Haryana in these assembly elections.
