Amidst Madhya Pradesh political crisis, Indian National Congress announced new PCC Presidents for Karnataka and Delhi. Congress’s troubleshooter and popular leader DK Shivakumar will now lead Karnataka Team and Anil Chaudhary will pick up the baton in Delhi. The appointment orders were released by the Communication Handle of AICC.
Social Media and Congress workers are applauding the decision saying that the leaders chosen deserve the recognition.
The appointment was long overdue and surprisingly it came amidst of the Madhya Pradesh crisis, which arose due to Jyotiraditya Scindia’s switch. It is also said that DK Shivakumar is playing a major role in bringing back the MLA’s to safeguard Kamalnath Government in MP.
Anil Chaudhary the newly appointed Delhi PCC president was widely appreciated for his timely intervention during Delhi Progrom. He was one of the first political leaders who rushed to GTB hospital on February 25, when the violence victims were left with very limited emergency facilities. He started his political career as district NSUI president. Abhishek Dutt, Jaikishan, Mudit Agarwal, Ali Hassan and Shivani Chopra are appointed as vice presidents in Delhi.
Eshwar Khandre, Satish Jharkiholi, and Saleem Ahammed are appointed as the working presidents in Karnataka were as Former chief minister Siddaramaiah will continue as the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader and opposition leader in the state legislative assembly. MLC M. Narayanswamy and MLA Ajay Singh are appointed as chief whips in the state legislative council and assembly.
