To help identify the symptoms of COVID-19 more effectively, Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has presented thermal scanners to his constituency, Wayanad. He presented 50Â thermal scanners to his parliament constituency.
District Congress Committee (DCC) president I.C. Balakrishnan, MLA, handed over the scanners to Wayanad District Collector Adeela Abdulla on Saturday. Out of these 50 scanners, 30 will be distributed in Wayanad and 10 each to Malappuram and Kozhikode.
Rahul Gandhi was among the few political leaders who highlighted the menace of coronavirus and asked for immediate action from the government. Moving a step forward, he has asked the central government to provide for the economic package for the country.
Wayanad District Congress Committee also said that more materials, including Sanitizers, Masks, etc will be distributed in the coming days.
