COVID-19: India’s recovery rate now at 62.7%

As many as 7,24,578 COVID-19 patients have been cured and discharged so far, the Union Health Ministry has said in its latest update.

Total active cases are now more than 4 lakh.

India’s COVID-19 recovery rate now stands at 62.7 percent.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain told media the coronavirus recovery rate in the national Capital is 84%.

India on Tuesday added 37,148 new cases, taking the its total count to 11,55,191.

The toll rose by 587 to 28,084.

More than 14.7 million people around the world have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. More than 7.5 million have recovered while nearly 610,000 have died, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
