Global coronavirus cases are approaching 25 million

Coronavirus cases are approaching 25m, according to the Johns Hopkins University tracker, with 23,358,598 infections currently confirmed.

More than 15 million have recovered and at least 806,500 people have died.

Nationwide, close to 177,000 have died in the United States, with an estimated 5.7 million infections as of early Monday.
