Bihar: 15 lakh people register RJD’s job portal for unemployed youth

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has claimed that more than five lakh people in Bihar have already registered themselves on a digital portal inviting resumes from the unemployed persons for jobs on the promise that once elected, the party will ensure employment for them.

RJD has launched this exclusive digital portal www.berozgarihatao.co.in launched 11 days back.

Portal also added a toll-free number via which one can register themselves with a mere missed call. According to RJD, over 10 lakh people have also dialled the toll-free number provided.

The RJD leaders are citing the registration as proof there was high unemployment in the state and has made it a major poll issue

RJD leader and the leader of the opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav said that unemployment is the biggest issue in Bihar election and the number of people seeking jobs is gradually increasing as they are uploading resumes on the portal.

Yadav claimed that his party has prepared a comprehensive scheme after consulting experts and through a mega drive every capable person will be given a job, depending on the skillset.

“The rising unemployment in Bihar is primarily due to the complete neglect by Nitish Kumar,” Sanjay Yadav, the political advisor to the former deputy CM said.

He furher noted that thousands of backlogs are piling up in different departments in the state and millions are forced to migrate because there are no jobs in Bihar.

Data shows that there is 46% unemployment in Bihar, with 7 crore unemployed, the highest in the country.
