According to data from the Election Commission as of 6 pm, Asaduddin Owaisi’s All India Majlis-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) was leading in the five seats of Amour, Bahadurganj, Jokihat, Baisi, and Kochadhaman.

In Amour, its candidate and party Bihar chief Akhtarul Iman is winning by a significant margin of 26,000. Muhammed Izhar Asfi, AIMIM’s candidate in Kochadhaman, is doing almost as well, leading by 30,712 votes.
In Bahadurganj, Mohammad Anzar Nayeemi is leading by more than 14,000 votes and in Baisi, Syed Ruknuddin Ahmad is leading by more than 6000 votes.
In Jokihat, AIMIM’s candidate and sitting RJD MLA Shahnawaz Alam is leading by more than 8,000 votes.
GDSF was formed after the merger of the constituents of the United Democratic Secular Alliance and a ‘three-party front’. Earlier, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) announced an alliance with Samajwadi Janata Dal Democratic (SJDD). Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) declared another alliance ‘three-party front’ for upcoming Bihar election.
GDSF partner BSP is also leading in one seat.
AIMIM won Kishanganj Assembly by-poll in 2019, marking the party’s first electoral victory in Bihar.
