In Bihar, Tejashwi leads opposition parties protest in support of farmers

The opposition parties in Bihar under the leadership of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday held demonstration in protest against new farm laws.

The opposition parties pledged support to the thousands of farmers agitating in national capital for repeal of the legislations.

Congress, CPI and CPIM joined the protest in Patna.

RJD vice president also extended support to the nationwide strike called by the farmers unions against on December 8.

“I am standing with the Annadata (providers of food) in their fight against the Dhandata (people who owns wealth). Is it a crime to raise voice in support of farmers demanding provision for Minimum Support Price (MSP) in the newly enacted laws. If it is a crime, then we will commit such crimes everytime,” Yadav said.
