Both Akashdeep Singh and Himmat Singh are under treatment at St. Stephen Hospital in Delhi.

Akashdeep is said to be very critical at the moment. His windpipe has suffered damage, Amaan Bali said.

Thousands of farmers entered New Delhi and reached Red Fort and ITO from Singhu and Ghazipur borders as part of their tractor rally against Narendra Modi government’s new agri laws Tuesday.

Farmers have entered Delhi besieging the national capital on Republic Day defying police blockades.

Dozens of shells are fired at protesting farmers who entered national capital after getting approval from Delhi Police, protesters told Maktoob.

Navneet Singh, a farmer in his 30s, who was on one of the tractors, was hit by a tear gas shell on his head and killed at ITO Tuesday afternoon.

Eyewitnesses told Maktoob that police bullet had hit Navneet while he was driving a tractor.

Reports say over 110 police officials and 215 farmers were injured during Tuesday’s protests and police actions.
