“For the sake of humanity, do your duty even now,” Owaisi MP urges PM Modi

Holding Prime Minister Narendra Modi responsible for the second wave of coronavirus in the country, AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi said the ruling party still want to fix headlines rather than help beleaguered people.

“The death and misery we see around us was totally avoidable. Those responsible for it have not even said Sorry, let alone take responsibility for their misdeeds. They mistake it to be a PR problem, and want to still fix headlines rather than help beleaguered people,” Hyderabad MP tweeted.

“For the sake of humanity, do your duty even now,” Owaisi urged the Union government.

Owaisi also demanded that Modi live up to his constitutional duty to save lives of people of India.

“And if you can’t, then just leave those high posts immediately. How much more death, devastation and despair will you bring to this country before you are kicked out?” asked the vocal critic of Narendra Modi’s Hindu nationalist government.

Three days ago, AIMIM chief launched a helpline to reach out to COVID-19 patients in distress in Hyderabad amid an exponential rise in cases.

A team of doctors will be present to guide patients and their attendants on treatment, anyone can call on the given COVID-19 helpline number from 6 am to 12 midnight and get the help they need.
