On 4 July, the Hindu right-wing ecosystem had created an “open-source community-driven project” on GitHub, an app called “Sulli Deals,” where anyone could get their “Sulli Deal of the day” (Sulli is a derogatory term used for Muslim women). More than 80  Muslim women, including students, activists and journalists were targeted. Afreen Fathima, Ladeeda Farzana and Nabiya Khan, the Muslim women activists who gave police complaints against hate crime targeting them, said that they are extremely angry and not afraid.
