A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Mumbai on Monday rejected the bail applications filed by Delhi University professor Hany Babu and members of Kabir Kala Manch Sagar Gorkhe, Ramesh Gaichor, and Jyoti Jagtap in the Bhima Koregaon case.
Hany Babu was arrested on 28 July 2020, from his residence in Delhi and is currently lodged in the Taloja prison in Navi Mumbai while Jagtap, Gorkhe and Gaichor were arrested in September 2020 and have been in custody since then. All three were charged under draconian UAPA.
A detailed order of the court is awaited, reported PTI.
