BAFTA film awards 2022: here are the winners

The winners of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards of 2022 have now been revealed on its annual film awards on Sunday, at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

‘The Power of the Dog’ took home the biggest award of the evening for Best Film, while Sir Kenneth Branagh’s film Belfast won the award for Outstanding British Film.

Will Smith won the best actor award for his performance in ‘King Richard’ while the British actress Joanna Scanlan bagged the best actress award for her role in ‘After Love’.

Elsewhere, Troy Kotsur won Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the Apple TV film CODA, while Ariana DeBose was awarded for her work as Anita in the Steven Spielberg adaptation of West Side Story.

Australian actress Rebel Wilson hosted the big event. The event was back to its full levels of glamour after the scaled back ceremony of last year due to Covid-19 pandemic.
