Israel kill two Palestinians as clashes intensify

At least two Palestinians were killed in seperate incidents on Sunday as violence intensify between settlers and Palestinians in occupied West Bank. In the first incident, Israeli military “spotted a suspect who attempted to illegally cross the security fence” near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem and fired at him.

Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the man’s death, identifying the deceased as Mahmud Eram.

Another Palestinian youth, 18-year-old Mutasem Mohammad Atallah was killed by a settler as he allegedly tried to sneak into the illegal jewish settlement of Tekoa.

The killings, along with the stabbing of a policeman in Jerusalem, came hours after Israeli forces caught two Palestinians suspected of killing three people in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish town of Elad on Israel’s Independence Day.

The incidents on Sunday brought the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces to 41 since the beginning of the year.
