Saudi Arabia wins 2-1 to Argentina stunning everyone

In a match that would go into the history books, Saudi Arabia wins against World Cup favourite Argentina. The green falcons scored two amazing goals in the second half, leaving the Albicelestes clueless in an exciting match in Qatar’s Lusail stadium on Tuesday.

The Saudi Arabia will have their keeper Al-Owais to thank who caught almost everything that came his way in this match.

The two goals from Al Shehri and Al Dawsari in first five minutes of the second half shocked football world. It also ended the Albicelestes’ 36- match unbeaten run.

No football pundits have expected such a result. Saudi Arabia now leads group C of World Cup with three points.

Saudi Arabia’s 2-1 victory over Argentina on Tuesday is rated the biggest shock in World Cup history by data company Nielsen Gracenote, moving ahead of the previous biggest upset, the United States’ win over England in 1950, Reuters reported.
