England fans in crusader costumes will be barred from World Cup games, FIFA said on Friday citing its anti-Muslim history.

FIFA said it is considered culturally insensitive in a Muslim country.

Qatari authorities have started banning England fans from wearing crusader costumes in stadiums.

England supporters are spotting in Doha, wearing chain-mail armour.

Some England fans dressed as crusaders were criticised online, prompting the sport’s world governing body to crack down on the costumes.
