Soon after taking oath as the 15th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, former Congress state chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Sunday promised transparent and honest government in Himachal Pradesh.
“We have given 10 guarantees and we will implement them. We will give a transparent and honest government. We will implement the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) in the first cabinet meeting,” news agency ANI reported.
Mukesh Agnihotri also took oath, as the Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He was the leader of the Opposition in the outgoing Assembly.
Thousands joined the ceremony held in Shimla on Sunday.
