Aji KM, a PhD scholar who also holds UGC NET and hails from Dalit community in Kerala burnt his doctoral thesis in show of dissent against the illicit appointments within the Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University here on 5 March. The restive applicant alleged that he was not been shortlisted for the post of an Assistant Professor despite being eligible.

Amid protests over the unfair incarceration of anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protestors in connection with northeast Delhi violence, Delhi Police has now come up with charge sheets aiming more of them.

"They threw the balloons only at us, even though they were male students, aiming at our private parts. They saw that I had Mongoloid features after I took off my pollution mask. After that, they screamed, ‘Aye, coronavirus! I was shocked,” said one of the Northeast students from Hansraj College, Delhi University.

"Justice being even sat at the court at 1 am regarding the medical support to the relief areas should be addressed as the epitome of people's judge," she told Maktoob.

Even after days of mayhem, it is shocking that the State govt have failed in providing any means of relief for the people rendered homeless by crimson deeds in the North East Delhi.
