Nadim Malik, a 27-year-old Muslim textile dealer, was attacked by some unidentified men on Friday while traveling from Mumbai to the Bulandshahar district of Uttar Pradesh. They also shaved his head and beard and left him half naked.

Delhi pogrom: Court rebukes police for arresting 3 Muslim youths with ‘no evidence’

The Delhi High Court on Friday granted bail to three Muslim youths arrested for killing Shahid Alam who had sustained gunshot injury on 24 February 2020 during the anti-Muslim pogrom in northeast Delhi and said that "it is hard to believe a communal riot used to cause death of person of their own coommunity."
