Asaduddin Owaisi’s residence attacked again, fourth incident since 2014

On Sunday night, unknown persons allegedly attacked the official residence of AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on New Delhi’s Ashoka Road.

Following the incident, Owaisi shared a video of the damages on Twitter pointing out that it is the fourth time his residence has been under attack since 2014. Visuals show broken windows.

“My Delhi residence has been attacked again. This is the fourth incident since 2014. Earlier tonight, I returned from Jaipur & was informed by my domestic help that a bunch of miscreants pelted stones that resulted in broken windows. @DelhiPolice must catch them immediately,” Owaisi tweeted.

“It’s concerning that this has happened in a so-called “high security” zone.”

According to ANI, an Additional DCP visited his residence and police collected the evidence.

In 2021, members of the Hindutva group, Hindu Sena, vandalised Owaisi’s residence to display outrage for his alleged “anti-Hindu statement”.
