Hindutva killings: Asaduddin Owaisi visits families of Junaid, Nasir in Rajasthan

Days after two Muslim men in Rajasthan were killed by members of Hindutva group Bajrang Dal, AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday, 18 February, visited the residences of the deceased men Junaid and Nasir.

Junaid and Nasir were killed by members of the Hindutva group as their vehicle was set on fire in Haryana’s Bhiwani, and their bodies reduced to bones.

Earlier, launching a scathing attack on BJP, Owaisi blamed the Haryana government over the horrifying Bhiwani killings. Owaisi claimed that victim’s family will not get justice.

Owaisi alleged that Rajasthan government delayed taking action on the missing complaint lodged by the family members of Junaid and Nasir and allowed the accused to flee the state to Haryana.

Meanwhile, a Rajasthan court on Saturday sent one accused to police remand for five days in connection with the abduction and murder, while Haryana authorities moved to cancel the arms licence of Monu Manesar who is among the four evading arrest in the case.

The family members of Nasir (25) and Junaid alias Juna (35) met Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot who assured them all the accused would be arrested at the earliest.
