A Delhi court Saturday extended former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia’s CBI custody till Monday (March 6).
His bail hearing has been scheduled for March 10.
During the hearing, Sisodia alleged ‘mental harassment.’
“Every day from 8 am they keep asking the same questions. Documents don’t exist. It is a mental harrasment. They don’t have anything in documents, only in statements. Last time my lawyer mentioned, they said third degree. They respect us. But 8-10 hours sitting, same questions on repeat is third degree only. It is mental harrasment,” he said.
“BJP MLA’s son caught with Rs 8 crore cash in Karnataka but instead of him, Manish Sisodia was arrested,” Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said today.
“Corruption doubles in the ‘double engine’ government. We need ‘new engine’ government,” he added.
