Nearly a hundred Indian film stars, directors post ‘All Eyes On Rafah’ on social media as Israel attacks Palestinian city

The slogan “All Eyes On Rafah” has been gaining momentum on social media after Israeli airstrikes killed more than 45 displaced Palestinians, mostly children, and women, who were seen beheaded, burnt alive, and injured dozens in an area in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

Nearly a hundred Indian celebrities have expressed solidarity with Palestinians by sharing the viral phrase “All Eyes On Rafah” on their respective Instagram stories.

The actors, directors, and other film personalities who work in many Indian languages, such as Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Rashmika Mandanna, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Triptii Dimri, Dia Mirza, and Richa Chadha, took to social media to stand with the people of Palestine who face brutal genocide in Gaza by Israel.

Other notable personalities include Swara Bhaskar, Shilpa Rao, Nora Fatehi, Bhumi Pednekar, Sonam Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Dulquer Salmaan, Parvathy Thiruvoth, Keerthy Suresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Vijay Yesudas, Vir Das, Raftaar, Rakul Preet, and Konkona Sen Sharma. Additionally, Kim Sharma, Dhvani Bhanushali, Geeta Basra, Ayesha Takia, Gauahar Khan, Ileana D’Cruz, Atlee Kumar, Hansika Motwani, Malaika Arora, Madhuri Dixit, Vijay Verma, Shaheen Bhatt, Khatija Rahman, Banita Sandhu, Nimrat Kaur, Renuka Shahane, Shweta Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Shweta Bachchan, Harshita Gaur, Sayani Gupta, Hina Khan, Prince Narula, Palak Tiwari, Asim Riaz, Kusha Kapila, Vishal Dadlani, Rasika Dugal, Kajal Aggarwal, Jonita Gandhi, Munawar Faruqui, Ibrahim Ali Khan Pataudi, Sree Leela, Athiya Shetty, Dhanashree Verma, Sana Shaikh, Basil Joseph, Deepa Thomas, Rima Kallingal, Bhavana, Divya Prabha, Ramya Nambeessan, Leona Leeshoy, Prayaga Martin, Nyla Usha, Muhsin Parari, Soubin Shahir, Aashiq Abu, Radhika, Mrudula Murali, and many others have voiced their support.

Many other film personalities also posted “All Eyes On Rafah.”

Several countries, global organizations, and celebrities have condemned the Israeli air attack on tents housing displaced people in Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah that killed at least 40 Palestinians, including many children. The Wafa news agency, citing the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), said the dead included women and children, with many “burned alive” inside their tents.
