Nusrat Noor creates history as first Muslim woman to secure 1st rank in Jharkhand PSC exam

It’s a moment of pride and glory for Nusrat Noor and family. Nusrat Noor, the 27-year-old Muslim woman from Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur, has cleared the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) with a highest rank. She will go down in history as the first Muslim woman in the state to get first rank.

“Participation and initiative are key to increasing women’s representation. It doesn’t matter what the result might be, Muslim women should come forward to get into civil services. This is how we can increase our representation and benefit our community and the nation at large,” Clarion India news website quoted Noor as saying.

Noor, a doctor by profession is a mother of two year old child.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has declared the result of Medical Officer Examination 2022 four days ago.
