Rajasthan: Bhartiya Tribal Party, SDPI form alliance against Congress and BJP

Four political parties — Bhartiya Tribal Party (BTP), Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Ambedkrite Party of India (API) and Rajasthan Democratic Front (RDF) — have announced the launch of Social Democratic Alliance for the upcoming Assembly polls in 2023.

“All four have well-defined objectives for the overall development of leftout castes and communities in the state. The alliance is natural and organic which will shake up the foundation of the Congress and the BJP,” BTP state president Vela Ram Ghogra said.

The BTP has two MLAs with their dominance in tribal districts of Banswara and Dungarpur while SDPI has presence in Muslim dominated areas in Kota and Baran.

“Our strong ground network in Kota, Baran and Jaipur joined with Dalits, tribals and OBC is a winning formula,” SDPI state president Rizwan Ahmed said.

Ambedkrite Party of India was founded in 2013 and headquartered in Nagpur.
