Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has announced that Kerala government will not accept the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB).
“Kerala will not accept Citizenship Amendment Bill. CAB is unconstitutional. The central government is trying to divide India on religious lines. This is a move to sabotage equality and secularism”, Vijayan told media.
Reacting to the Bill being passed in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, Pinarayi Vijayan said that the legislation has destroyed the very foundation of the Indian Constitution.
