The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Saturday released its manifesto ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
The manifesto has more than 500 promises.
The manifesto committed to provide LPG subsidies, education loans and reservation in the private sector, among other things.
It promised a reduction in petrol and diesel prices by Rs 5 and Rs 4 per litre, respectively, and a subsidy of Rs 100 on LPG gas cylinder.
The promises also include free computer tablets with data card for students and a law to provide 75 percent of jobs in the state to locals.
DMK supremo MK Stalin, in a press conference, also promised to take steps to seek an early report from the commission step up to probe the death of former chief minister and AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa.
DMK offered the metro rail projects in Coimbatore and other cities in Tamil Nadu.
Stalin also promises to do away with NEET.
The manifesto also claimed that the DMK led alliance would extend maternity leave to 12 months.
For children, they will be provided milk as part of their morning meals, and education loans would be waived for students below the age of 30, according to the manifesto.
First generation graduates would be given priority in government jobs, DMK manifesto promised.
DMK will consider to make Thirukural as the national textbook.
The party said it will make efforts to give citizenship for Sri Lankan Tamils.
Promising an allocation of Rs 1000 crore towards renovation and consecration of Hindu temples, Stalin assured to provide Rs 200 crore for churches and mosques.
