Bhima Koregaon case: Rona Wilson and Sudhir Dhawale walk out of jail after 2,413 days
Human rights defenders Rona Wilson and Sudhir Dhawale walked out of Taloja Central Jail in Mumbai, two weeks after they were granted bail in the Bhima Koregaon conspiracy case, in which they and other human rights defenders were charged under the draconian UAPA. Both were arrested on June 18, 2018, and had been languishing in jail since then.
Seven human rights defenders who are accused in the Bhima Koregaon case have gone on a hunger strike from Friday, protesting that they are not physically produced for the trial.
