A district court in Delhi has sought a status report from the Delhi Police on two pleas for registration of FIRs (first information reports) against BJP leader Kapil Mishra and his associates for their role in the anti-Muslim riots in northeast Delhi.

Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi Government to immediately process an application moved for seeking compensation for sustaining serious injury during the Delhi riots on Wednesday.
