UP: BJP leader, two others acquitted of Muslim man’s murder during anti-CAA protests
A local court in Aligarh on Wednesday acquitted three Hindu nationalists including former Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) office-bearer Vinay Varshney in the murder case of Mohammad Tariq Munawwar, who was killed during protests against CAA in Aligarh in February 2020.
