The United States State Department in its annual report to the Congress on international religious freedom has found that in India in 2021 attack on members of the minority communities occurred throughout the year.

Marking their opposition to the CPI(M) led government’s decision to rejig the minority scholarship ratio, an umbrella body of Muslim organisations in Kerala on Sunday has constituted a Sachar Samrakshana Samithi (roughly translates as Save Sachar [Sachar Commission] Committee).
