Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was cleared in the drugs-on-cruise case by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday.

In its detailed order granting bail to three, including Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and model Munmun Dhamecha, the Bombay High Court said that prima facie there is no evidence on record to infer that the trio conspired to commit offences under the Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substance Act.

Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the Mumbai cruise ship drugs case, involving actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, has claimed that he had overheard private investigator Kiran Gosavi talk about a Rs 18 crore deal, of which Rs 8 crore was to be paid to Narcotics Control Bureau Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede.

Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in his plea in the Bombay High Court seeking bail, has said the Narcotics Control Bureau's "interpretation and misinterpretation" of the WhatsApp chats collected from his mobile phone was "wrong and unjustified."

Manish Bhanushali, national vice-president of Bharatiya Janata Party, and KP Gosavi, a private investigator were part of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raid during which actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) spokesperson Nawab Malik has alleged.
