Parveena Ahangar writes to UN demanding protection of APDP following NIA raid

Prominent Kashmiri activist Parveena Ahangar on behalf of the Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP), wrote a letter to the United Nations on Friday demanding the protection of APDP and the victim families it supports in the light of punitive raid by NIA on 28 October 2020.

In a press statement released by Parveena hours after the raid, she raised serious concern over misuse of sensitive information, including names and addresses of victims present in documents seized from APDP and apprehension of reprisal against victims of human rights violations.
