Modi highlights India’s achievements with Chandrayaan, G20, while Kharge accuses Union of weakening ‘strong’ Opposition 

During his address in the Lok Sabha during the special session of Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded "the success of the G20 Summit" and said that "it belonged to the 140 crore citizens of the country and not exclusively to one person or party," while Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that the government was focusing on weakening the "strong" Opposition through central agencies like CBI and ED.

The five-day special session of Parliament called by the Union government is scheduled to begin on Monday, 18 September and will conclude on Friday, 22 September.
