Indigenous community leaders, solidarity activists, journalists, and academics, in a joint statement, call on everyone concerned about the rights of Indigenous and forest-dwelling communities and the future of conservation to pay urgent attention to the recent “despotic move” of National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) to evict people in the name of tiger conservation.
