Student bodies collectively took out a march inside Jawaharlal Nehru University on Thursday, demanding answers about JNU student Najeeb Ahmed''s enforced disappearance.
Najmal had earlier said he wanted his body to be cremated as per Muslim customs at the Cheraman Juma Masjid, Kodungallur and it was written by him in a handwritten letter. However, his final wish was not fulfilled as his family members decided and supported the move to cremate his body in a ploy.
The CBI said that out of the nine phones belonging to the accused ABVP , three could not be examined by its forensic laboratory (CFSL) in Chandigarh, since two were in damaged condition and the third had a ‘pattern lock’ which could not be unlocked. What a ridiculous excuse this is: the Central Bureau of Investigation is unable to ‘unlock’ the phone of an ABVP student in JNU???!!!
It is imperative that we connect JNU to the larger patters of anti-Muslim acts of hatred and slaughter that the country is now witnessing on an everyday basis
