According to the latest official information from the Palestinian health ministry, three days of Israeli bombardment in Gaza killed at least 45 Palestinians, including 16 children.
After three days of heavy Israeli bombardment on the besieged Gaza Strip, Israel and the Palestinian armed group Islamic Jihad declared a truce late Sunday.

According to data compiled by Defense for Children International, at least 2,200 children have been killed by the Israel across the Occupied Palestinian Territory since 2000 – the beginning of the second intifada.
“There is no safe space in the Gaza Strip for Palestinian children and their families and they increasingly bear the brunt of Israel’s repeated military offensives,” Ayed Abu Eqtaish, the accountability programme director at the DCIP, said in a statement.
