Hamas says its fighters destroyed 79 Israeli army vehicles

Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing said it destroyed 79 Israeli army vehicles, either completely or partially, in the last 72 hours.

Qassam Brigades said on its Telegram channel its fighters also set up a booby trap at the opening of a tunnel in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood and blew it up as Israeli soldiers advanced towards it.

It added that several Israeli forces were either killed or wounded.

Separately, the group said it attacked a group of ground troops who were stationed inside a house in Beit Lahia in Gaza’s north, and reported “injuries” among the soldiers, without providing more details.

Meanwhile, The Israeli army has intensified its bombardment of Gaza, hitting areas from Jabalia in the north to Khan Younis in the south.
