
Israeli occupation forces have killed almost 2,000 Palestinians in Gaza, mostly women and children, since breaking the ceasefire in March.
Over 61,700 Palestinians have been confirmed killed and 117,248 wounded in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza since it began 18 months ago.
More than 60 people have been reported killed in Gaza since early Thursday, and casualties continue to mount as Israel carries out early morning attacks on the Palestinian territory.
The Palestinian Civil Defence and medics said 12 people from the same family in north Gaza’s Jabalia were among those killed in the Israeli attacks.
The medical director of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Khalil al-Daqran, has warned that Gaza has entered the fifth stage of malnutrition — the most critical level defined by the World Health Organization — as a result of Israel’s ongoing blockade, reported Wafa.
Gaza’s Health Ministry announced that 37 of 38 hospitals in the Strip are now non-functional, with the latest casualty being the Mohammed al-Durra Children’s Hospital, located east of Gaza City.
