Over 32 Palestinians killed in three hours as Israel bombs Gaza after truce expires

Dozens of Palestinians killed since Israel resumed attacks on Gaza after expiration of truce, according to health officials.

Health Ministry officials in Gaza say Israeli air strikes have killed at least 32 people across the Gaza Strip in less than three hours since the resumption of military operations.

The killed are; two in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip, five in Zaitoun and Shujaiya area, northern Gaza Strip, ten at Maghazi, central Gaza Strip, one in Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip, two in Hamad town, south of Khan Younis and nine in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Qatar, the mediating country has confirmed negotiations between Hamas and Israel are continuing “with the aim of returning to a state of the pause”.

In a statement, the Qatari foreign ministry expressed its “deep regret” over Israel’s renewed bombardment of Gaza saying it complicates the mediation efforts and “exacerbates the humanitarian catastrophe in the Strip”.

The ministry also called on the international community to act “quickly” to stop the violence.
