The Centre on Wednesday night notified the transfer of Justice Dr S Muralidhar from Delhi High Court to Punjab and Haryana High Court, LiveLaw reported.
Last week, the Supreme Court Collegium had intimated its proposal to transfer Justice S Muralidhar from the Delhi High Court to the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The Delhi High Court Bar Association had protested against this transfer proposal by abstaining from work for a day last week.
Notably, Today, Justice Muralidhar had questioned police complicity in the Anti-muslim Pogrom in northeast Delhi.
