Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Muslim women protesters at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi are taking precautions and are sitting at a distance of at least one meter from each other.

The anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protesters have formed a group of 30-35 women to continue the protest at a time.

“However, the protest will continue until the Centre listens to our demands,” says one of the protesters who have been demanding rollback of the anti-Muslim and unconstitutional citizenship act passed by Parliament in December.

The protesters are also using sanitizers and masks to avoid coronavirus infection. They also have separated themselves by about one meter.

The protesting Muslim women have been leading the historic protest against CAA, NRC, and NPR for the last three months.
