Heavy showers have continued since last night in Mumbai ,flooding the roads and leaving the traffic disturbed.
IMD have also issued ‘a yellow alert’ for Mumbai and Thane districts.
Over the next 24 hours, the city and its outskirts are predicted to have mild to intense rainfall, as per forecasters.
Isolated places are alerted to very excessive monsoon showers.
Few trains on the main harbor line are also interrupted amid the heavy flood like downpours.
Yesterday, a landslide was noticed at the Mumbai-Goa highway in Maharashtra’s Chiplun tehsil.
However, on Saturday night, a landslide at the Ghat obstructed traffic lanes.
Due to bad weather, travel has been delayed at the Ghat since four in the evening.
