KCR claims ‘Delhi brokers’ sought to buy 4 TRS MLAs

Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday claimed that “Delhi brokers” tried to bribe four MLAs of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), referring to last week’s incident.

Last week, Telangana Police seized a huge amount of cash from a farmhouse on the outskirts of Hyderabad that was “meant to be offered to four MLAs of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to quit their party” by ‘BJP agents.’ The cops arrested Delhi-based Sateish Sharma, 33, alias Ramachandra Bharathi, a priest at a temple in Haryana’s Faridabad; D Simhayaji, a seer from Tirupathi in Andhra Pradesh; and Nandakumar, a Hyderabad-based businessman, who were present at the farmhouse at Aziz Nagar in Moinabad.

KCR appreciated the four TRS MLAs who refused home minister “Amit Shah’s ₹100-crore offer to switch the party and stood by truth in Telangana.”

He was speaking at a rally in Munugode.

“With me, four MLAs have come from Hyderabad to Munugode. These are my four MLAs who refused the crores of rupees of Delhi brokers who conspired to poach against our government,” KCR said.

“I am asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, why this cruelty? How much more power do you want? You have already been elected twice, then why are you toppling governments? Did senior leaders of the RSS who are currently in the Chanchalguda jail indulge in the act without PM Modi’s support?” CM asked.
