Muslim man killed in Mewat, family, locals say Bajrang Dal behind murder

A twenty one year old Muslim man Waris, resident of Hussainpur village in Haryana’s Mewat district was killed by Hindutva group, Bajrang Dal, his family members and locals said on Saturday.

A video showing Bajrang Dal workers abusing and assaulting three Muslim men including Waris inside a car went viral soon after the incident.

“Cow vigilantes of Bajrang Dal were attacking these Muslim youth. You can see it in the video,” Sahid, a local, said to Bharat TV.

Monu Manesar who is infamous for “cow protection group” and targeted attacks on Muslims was behind the brutal murder of Waris, Sahid alleged.
