Next Opposition meet to be held in Bengaluru on July 13-14: Sharad Pawar

The next meeting of Opposition parties will be held in Bengaluru on July 13-14, NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Thursday announced.

“PM Modi has become restless after opposition parties’ meet in Patna”, the NCP supremo said, referring to the June 23 mega meeting which leaders from 15 opposition parties had attended in the Bihar capital.

The meeting would be held to prepare an agenda for moving ahead together while working in the respective states to fight the saffron party in 2024.

The Opposition leaders had earlier announced they would meet in Shimla on July 10-12.

The meeting in Patna was attended by opposition leaders including West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, RJD supremo Lau Prasad Yadav, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, CPIM general secretary Sitaram Yechuri, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and NC leader Omar Abdullah.
