A massive demonstration in solidarity with the people of Palestine, who have been resisting Israeli aggression, took place in Aurangabad, Maharashtra on Saturday.
The event was organized by the Students Islamic Organisation, the student wing of Jamat-e-Islami Hind.
It was held at the Aam Khas ground.
Thousands of people from all age groups attended the gathering on a Saturday afternoon, with participants carrying Indian and Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against Zionism.
Salman Mobin Khan, General Secretary of SIO, KK Suhail, National Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, and Aetesam Hami, Zonal President of SIO South Maharashtra, along with many others, addressed the gathering.
During the dua, led by Mufti Aminuddin Qadri, prayers were offered for the peace and safety of Palestinians.
