UP: Man thrown by mob from moving train on suspicion of mobile theft, dies on spot

A man suspected to have stolen a mobile phone in Ayodhya Delhi express was thrashed mercilessly and thrown off the running train on Sunday. The man died after his head hit against a pole near Tilhar railway station in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur.

The GRP has made an arrest in connection with the case. The arrested is identified as Narendra Kumar.

Visuals shared by journalists on social media showed a group of men mercilessly beating and attacking the man.
