Anurag Kashyap’s Kennedy to bring in enigmatic allure at the Midnight Screeenings

Kennedy, a police noir drama written and directed by Anurag Kashyap and featuring Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhat, has been selected for the highly coveted Midnight Screening at the Cannes Film Festival.

Produced by Zee Studios and Good Bad Films, the movie will be screened on May 24. The Midnight Screenings section of the festival is renowned for showcasing unconventional and intriguing genres, providing a platform for films with unique and offbeat content to captivate audiences.

In Kennedy, the story revolves around a former cop named Kennedy who was presumed dead for several years. It would be interesting to watch how Kennedy, who is struggling with insomnia, resurfaces and becomes part of a corrupt system while seeking redemption.

The teaser for the movie “Kennedy” was released on YouTube three days ago. It has garnered overwhelmingly positive responses, thanks to the brilliant cinematography by Sylvester Fonseca. The auteur is being praised for his exceptional work.

Kashyap was bestowed with the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) by the French government at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival for his efforts in the promotion of Indian cinema across the globe.
